The Story

In the world of MindScape, people born with paranormal potential are known as Variants. Though uncommon, their existence is publicly recognized, even if the nature of their abilities remains poorly understood. These abilities can awaken without warning, at any moment in a person’s life, regardless of age.

For 25-year-old Nathan Stanton, that awakening comes when he suddenly begins hearing the thoughts of those around him. Overwhelmed by voices he cannot silence, Nathan loses control, unleashing a devastating force that changes his life in an instant.

Struggling to understand his newfound abilities and fearful of what he might be capable of, Nathan finds himself at HCI, an organization dedicated to helping Variants understand and control their powers.

But as Nathan begins to discover what he’s truly capable of, he soon learns that not everything at HCI is quite what it seems.
